Welcome to the Fourth International Symposium on Epigenetics in Marine and Aquatic Research
Puerto Varas, Chile | May 25 to 28, 2027
Welcome to the Fourth International Symposium on Epigenetics in Marine and Aquatic Research (EPIMAR 2027), set to take place in Puerto Varas, Chile, from May 25 to 28, 2027.
EPIMAR first took place in Montpellier, France, in October 2020. Despite being held online due to the pandemic, it attracted participants from across the globe, highlighting the immense interest in the field. This was followed by successful editions in Woods Hole, USA (2022) and Barcelona, Spain (2025). Now it’s time for Chile.
EPIMAR 2027 will bring together a global community of scientists exploring epigenetic and epigenomic mechanisms that influence the biology, adaptation, and evolution of marine organisms. Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue across marine biology, genomics, aquaculture, and environmental sciences.
